Mommy's Gone, Time to Play!

This past week, Melissa had to go out of town for a week for training for work, that meant that I was at home with the girls all by myself this week. We had only a few rough mornings but, for the most part, I did pretty well if I do say so myself. I even did their hair, which is hard for us guys. I did send the girls to school on Friday with only 1 apple, which I caught hell for from the daycare teacher (it's cool, she knows us and was joking around). Check out this picture I snapped Monday night after the girls and I had Pasghetti for dinner! Melissa was mad cause I got them to pose for me which is difficult for us to get them to do anytime!

Mommy & Daddy, check out our new umbrellas!

L & N got umbrellas for Christmas and this morning it was pouring down raining so we suggested that they get out their umbrellas and try them out.  Santa did a great job because they love them!  Check out the pictures below.

Melissa had to work today so the girls were home with me for the majority of the day. I must have worn them out!

New Year's Eve

Well it looks like we (Melissa and I) are going to make it to New Year's awake.  We lost Nat first and the Lou went next.  Lou got up from her mag-na-doodle and went over to see what Melissa was doing in front of the computer & then bam, out like a light.

Cincinnati Zoo's Festival of Lights

My parents came in from out of town and so did my sister and we went to see the +The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden 's Festival of Lights.  We snapped some great pictures of +Charles Macke , +Melissa Macke , my mom, sister, the girls and me.  See see some of the photos below.

Happy Halloween!

We took the girls trick-or-treating twice this year.  On Saturday, my friend and I took her daughter and my girls to the Crestview Hills Mall and we trick-or-treated like we did last year.  It was cold and windy but all of the girls held up quite well, we ended up with coats over their costumes all around.  The girls used their dress up princess outfits as costumes and looked of so cute. 

On Halloween, we took the girls trick-or-treating in our neighborhood.  Since we were still having some chilly weather and it was drizzly we decided to use the Winnie the Pooh & Tigger costumes that we have that I was thinking would be better for next year, but they were warmer.  They worked out perfectly.  The girls held up quite well around the neighborhood.  Our neighbor across the street made them their own personal treat bags with a little stuffed pumpkin in each!   We made it all the way up the street we took and back down and had about 3 houses left when they began to get tired.  I was pretty impressed with their stamina.

This summer we have had a bucket list of things we have wanted to do and the last few items we had were a hay ride and corn maze.  We took the camera and took some great photos!
