Florida Day 2

On our second day in Florida we hung out with my little brother Nick and headed towards Orlando for the day.  We had lunch at Outback and then spent a couple hours at Downtown Disney doing some shopping with the girls.  We ended the evening by heading to Medieval Times because I have never been and I was super excited to get to go!  Greg & Nick both made fun of me because they'd both been on school trips when they were younger.  At Medieval Times the girls sat on our laps because they are free until they are 3 so we shared dinner with them.  Medieval Times is very much like the Dixie Stampede that we saw when we were in Gatlinburg a couple years ago.  It was a fun show to watch and our Knight won!!!

Florida Day 1

Three days before we found out we were going to have to move we'd booked a trip to Florida to visit my Dad in Tampa.  We went for five days and had a great time.  We went to all sorts of fun places.

When we got there my Dad was working, since we flew into St. Pete we decided to head over to Clearwater beach to enjoy the weather.  It was snowy and icy when we left so we were excited to enjoy the warmth.  It was about 68 and sunny in Clearwater, the water was cold so we just got our feet wet and didn't go in much further.

After the beach we went out to dinner at Square One with my Dad and his girlfriend.  It's great to go visit my Dad he always eats at the best non-chain restaurants that we might not have made it to otherwise.  The burgers at this place were awesome!

Here are some pics from the beach:

N's first haircut

We took N for her first haircut this evening.  She has the best baby curls and I've held onto them as long as I can, but as her hair gets longer they disappear more and more.  So we sucked it up tonight and took her to get an inch cut off to even out her length.  It didn't hurt that haircuts are on sale for $5.99!

Before (ignore what looks like curl, it is wave from the buns it was in before the haircut):

During, she sat so nicely in Daddy's lap!

She even let the hairdresser blowdry her hair!

After, she let me take a picture and then demanded I put her hair back in ponytails!

Afterwards, we took the kids out for ice cream to reward them for both being so good!

My Parents Come To Visit

This weekend my parents came to visit.  It's always fun when they come because the girls get excited to see them.  We went out for dinner to Bucco Di Bippo for dinner last night, moved some stuff into storage prior to our move at the end of March, and then finished off the day relaxing and watching the Superbowl.  We snapped couple of pictures and posted them here.
