Look Mom, No Shoes!!!

N has developed this new habit of taking off her shoes on the way home from daycare everyday!  Most of the time it is only her right shoe.  Today I brought the camera down to take a picture since it is so silly and she'd taken off both shoes!  Such a silly girl.  It makes her laugh and laugh when we ask her why.  I'm sure we will never know!

Valentine's Day Cookie Making

Sometimes Greg and I feel like things are going too well around the house and we need a challenge more than having twin twenty month olds provides us.  HAHA!  So we decided to make Valentine's Day cookies for the Valentine's Day party at daycare for the girls.  I'd picked up a couple of boxes of mix on sale so I figured it would be easy to throw some together.  It was a blast, L loved stirring the mix and N loved playing in the flour. They were both really good at peppering the sprinkles on top of the cookies.  It's amazing to see how fast they change.  We tried to include them in a little of our Christmas cookie baking and they didn't want anything to do with it, now they are bakers!

Half Marathon Training Week 7

We ran 9 miles outside in 24 degree weather.  It was cold.  Hopefully it is not that cold this Saturday when we run 10 miles. That is all.

First Hair Cut

We took L for her first haircut.  I'm still going to grow her hair out but I wanted to even it up for now so we had only an inch cut off.  She was great.  She sat in my lap the whole time and just freaked out when the girl sprayed her hair to wet it before she began cutting.  I'm so proud of my big girl!
